Cascading Tiered Waterfall

This waterfall is one of the most beautiful and scenic nature locations in the Balkans. It is a series of waterfalls in northern Bulgaria, about 3 hours away from Sofia. They are famous with their picturesque landscape and are formed by many travertines.
There is a tourist path leading to a cave, where the river springs. There are two smaller waterfalls in the area, and some other caves are also found in the vicinity, including the awe inspiring Devetashka Cave, just 20 minutes away from this location.
This locations was used in the scenic, location driven feature film Albion: The Enchanted Stallion, which was shot entirely on locations in Bulgaria and was serviced by Mainstreet Entertainment in 2015.
