The National Palace of Culture and Congress Center (NPC) has a total gross floor area of 123,000 m2 (30.4 acres) on eight floors, four panorama terraces and three underground levels. It offers a total of 11 event halls, and the main hall has a floor area of 11,000 sq. m., consisting of 580 m2 stage area; 250 m2 orchestra pit, theatre set-up auditorium that includes 8 stall blocks, lodge balcony, front and side balconies with a total capacity of 3 692 fixed armchair seats, and extended capacity of 4 000 seats by additional mobile chairs. The halls have sound reinforcement systems and multifunctional stage lighting. There are multiple foyers (lobbies) and mezzanines, which are remarkable with their unique design, art and decorative elements and emblematic lighting fixtures.
