Winery & Vineyard Estate

This beautiful, provencale vineyard estate is located in one of the most fertile vineyard districts in Bulgaria, just 3 hours away from the capital Sofia, and is located on the same latitude with some of the most famous wine regions in Europe. The cellar is situated in the southernmost part of the country, 2 km. from the border with Greece, at the foot of the Eastern Rhodope mountains. The area is hilly, very picturesque and still beautifully wild.

The estate holds nearly 1,900 acres of its own vineyards and is one of the best vineyards in Bulgaria.  The area is famous for its ancient history and traditions. Sources more than 5000 years old prove that the Thracians, Romans and Bulgarians living on these lands have been engaged in viticulture and wine-making since the earliest times. In this most southern part of Bulgaria are also to be found some of the most interesting places, related to the 13 century-old cultural and historical heritage of our country.

The frescoes in the cellar depict the meeting of the Dionysian and Eleusinian mysteries with their Thracian roots.
